Isabel Ameraucanas: Also known as Lavender Wheaten Ameraucanas, these birds are truly showstoppers! My hens all lay very vibrant blue eggs, no green or teal undertones from my stock. Let me emphasize, these birds are NOT hybrids, mixed breed, or 'americanas'. Roosters are non-aggressive towards my small children and the hens easily allow them to be picked up and carried around. Excellent foragers, perfect for small homesteads looking to reduce feed cost. Hens will go broody, which makes raising your own chicks very easy.
